About this Project
As an approved Metro Nashville Airport Authority vendor, we have worked under two separate contracts to complete demolition work at Concourse D and the Main Terminal for the Nashville International Airport. This was a design build project that presented a challenge of logistics as we ensured a completely safe environment for thousands of people passing daily.
- DBE: 100% (required project goal of 20%)
- SBE: 100% (required project goal of 4%)
- WBE: 7% (required project goal of 6%)
- MBE: 13% (required project goal of 9%)

Highlights:
- Demolition of the Air Freight Building
- Demolition of two concourses making way for Concourse D and the Expansion of Concourse D
- Removal of entire glass and concrete entrance on all levels
- Selective demolition at Terminals A & B and phasing for new wings
- Selective demolition of Air Freight Buildings 1 & 2
- Interior demolition in the Main Terminal including baggage claim secured areas.
- Completed work on schedule with no lost time to airport
- All LEED and DBE requirements met.
Site Conditions:
- Selective demolition throughout civilian and secured areas while the airport remained active
- Adapt daily to constantly changing availability of work zones and change scheduled tasks to accommodate for such
- Night work required for much of the demolition
- Stringent background requirement for all employees had to be met.
