About this Project

Demo Plus razed two 3-Story, 78,000 sf dorm structure and one 1-story structure at Lincoln Tech University in Nashville, TN. Using a reach excavator and 350 sized excavators to demolish the structures in a small footprint to operate in. A block structure with precast concrete slabs and roof. Concrete and solid fill was separated
and recycled at a fill site, while the metals were recycled as well.

Highlights:

• 3-story dorm demolition at Lincoln Tech University
• High reach used in extremely tight work area.
• 91% of 7000 yards of material were diverted from the landfill

Site Conditions:

• Tight footprint for working machines and debris management
• Precast slabs delicately removed to maximize recyclables
• Noise and dust concerns for neighboring properties
