  • Completion Date: December 2026
  • Location: Millersville, TN
  • Project Type: Earthwork

About this Project

This multifaceted 32-acre project had two major pieces of land that each needed their own building pad. We made both pads, of over 170,000 sf each, with 350,000 CY of deep excavation and embankment operations up to 50 ft in depth. Both pads were worked on congruently making the process both safe and efficient. Due to major grade transitions the project included construction of 10 retaining walls, underground infrastructure for site utilities, and roadway improvements.

Highlights:

  • 350,000 CY of Cut/fill
  • Delivered fully stabilized 50-foot-deep cut/fill building platforms
  • Rock blasting within an active development corridor
  • Installed 10 retaining walls to support major grade transitions
  • 50,000 CY of utilities placed
  • Constructed TDOT-compliant roadway improvements to support long-term traffic demands

      Site Conditions:

      • 32 acre previously disturbed site consisting of previously placed fill, fat clay, and rock.
      • Adjacent to Interstate 65.
      • Reconstruction required of existing roadway where daily services could not be interrupted.
      • Added turning lane on state route 257.
