Demolition Foreman

As our Demolition Foreman, you will be the front-line leader on our job sites, responsible for the day-to-day coordination, supervision, and completion of demolition projects. You will work closely with project managers and crew members to uphold our high standards of quality and safety.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train demolition crews on assigned projects.
  • Coordinate daily tasks and delegate responsibilities to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Enforce all safety protocols, company policies, and OSHA guidelines on-site.
  • Oversee the safe and proper operation of demolition equipment.
  • Actively work alongside crew members and provide guidance and mentorship.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and contractors.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports and other necessary project documentation.
  • Problem-solve and resolve on-site issues as they arise.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience: A minimum of three years of experience as a demolition foreman or a similar supervisory role.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate a crew.
  • Safety Expertise: Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations, including OSHA standards. OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
  • Blueprint Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret construction and architectural plans.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to anticipate and resolve challenges efficiently to keep projects on track.
  • Physical Stamina: Capable of handling the physical demands of the job, including manual labor and operating equipment.
  • Transportation: Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Reliability: Dependable and punctual, with the ability to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends as needed.
