About this Project

Demo Plus razed 5 buildings, totaling 120,000 sf, structure in the heart of downtown Nashville. Using high reach excavators and 350 sized excavators to demolish the structures that lined Broadway and 16th Ave. Required coordination with Metro for sidewalk and road closures and re-routes with a 3-story brick building built on the sidewalk of Broadway being demoed while operating on Broadway itself

Highlights:

• 3-story demolition in high traffic area a few feet from an active street in Downtown
• High reach used in extremely tight work area in downtown Nashville
• 83% of 2,400 yards of material were diverted from the landfill

• Tight footprint for working machines and debris management
• Operating equipment on active street
• 3 stories built over street and street light
