About this Project

Contracted to provide site preparation services for a MDHA project located in East Nashville. Scope of work includes erosion control, site demolition, earthwork, site grading, installation of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, storm sewer detention, and watermain utilities.

Highlights:

• 17,000 cy of mass excavation
• Hammer and rock excavation
• Excavate and recompact soils
• Import of stone
• 2,000 cy topsoil stripped for reuse
• Cut and fill site with no export
• Install all site utilities and bio pond
• Additional grading due to phasing layback plan
• 30’ deep excavation and layback areas for the footings and foundation piles

Site Conditions:

• Deep excavation requiring precise GPS sloping
• Dynamic and inconsistent material to work with
• Highly congested area requiring security 24/7
• High vehicular and pedestrian traffic at all hours
